An OEM lighting sourcing checklist for your next collection
A clear brief brings product performance, branding, packaging and order planning into the same conversation.

Define the market before the product
Start with the destination market, sales channel and intended application. These influence electrical requirements, product documentation, packaging language and the way buyers compare the range. A retail collection and a project supply order may need different forms of support.
Separate essential and optional requirements
List non-negotiable specifications such as voltage, key dimensions or intended use, then identify preferences such as finish, packaging presentation and accessories. This makes it easier to evaluate existing models and discuss development work where needed.
Make branding requirements specific
Provide the artwork, placement preferences and any retail labeling requirements when discussing private-label products. Packaging discussions should include the sales channel, protection needs, barcode requirements and destination language. Feasibility depends on the model and order scope.
Use samples to review the details
A sample review should cover physical construction, appearance, dimensions and the agreed functional requirements. Record any requested changes clearly so that the confirmed specification is shared by both teams.
Confirm the commercial scope
Quantity per model, destination, requested timing and shipment arrangements are useful starting points. Lead times and customization availability should be confirmed for the actual order rather than assumed from a general product category.
When you are ready, send your shortlist through our inquiry form. Include the model references and supporting documents that will help us understand the intended range.
